Hi All,

Having an issue with Tiff image in which I have a quick question about. :help:

I save my DSS Tiff image file and open in Photoshop CS to process.

DSS seems to work fine, does everything I want, I think.... but when I open my tiff image in PS it's black and white, no matter what I do I can't seem to get color into it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Did you get the Bayer matrix settings for your camera correct in DSS? (which uses dcraw)

I'll have a look at that tonight, I'm new to DSS. I don't think my camera came up on the list though, I might need to update DSS. I have a Canon 6D

You using DSS 3.3.2 or 3.3.4 (beta)? I had problem with 3.3.2 before and the beta version fixed all probs

Try this. When you open the tiff file in Photoshop open it as 'camera raw' it should then open in a Photoshop window, there will be a small box on the bottom right that says 'open image' press that and you should go to the image edit page and menu. That works for me everytime, and I use DSS as well.

Hi Malau, I currently have 3.3.2 - I haven't used it since I purchased Nebulosity, I think I might give up on DSS for now.

Thanks Glend  but it still didn't work. I think its a DSS issue though as even the image thumbnail is back & white. The only way I can get colour is to ramp up the saturation in PS 100% which doesn't look very good. As said above I have since purchased Nebulosity, I think I'll stick to that from now on as it seems to work for me!! :)
