OK you learned Registax guys/gals.
I need help with Registax, and I realize Cor is the guy to write to, but I did that a while back and didn't hear from him. I have also written to the southern hemisphere expert, alias Bird, but wanted to set it i motion here as well.
Anyway. I have a webcam that is 1280x1024. My latest Registax (V3. from a couple of weeks ago) only goes as big as 1024 in the processing area. I have heard from a user in Asia who "used a crack" to give about 2000x1500 or so. I have no desire to crack this wonderful program, but wondered if there was a fix so I can actually stack etc and process the 1280x1024.
At present the "result" is waveletted across a section, but not right to the edges.
Ideas?

Hi Gary. When you wavelet, have you tried clicking "Do All"

No by George, and I will, tomorrow. I got an answer back from Bird that indicated that 1024 was it, but I will try your suggestion just the same.
From the download Registax site, it indicates large input sizes, something like 4000x4000, so perhaps the snag I have had is just in the waveletting.
I did a terminator shot, and did minimal waveletting, it looked OK, and was a two part mosaic. The other shows how things look when only part gets processed (or is that waveletted??)
Thanks for that.

So do I, cos it has more airpoints than you would believe.
Can't see why not though, time will tell.
Thanks again Paul, I'll report back tomorrow.

I've just had another thought Gary. I know Registax will handle full size 300D images, so another option might be to run you Avi through Virtual Dub and save as BMPs and then drag and drop them into Registax.

Ponders et al. Legendary stuff. It worked. I tried it and thought initially you were losing it like me, then hit "Do It All", and away it went. Perfect.
I am now keen to try a real lunar avi. Thanks guys
