Taken May 27th...imaged through some thin cloud.

Gee this is a faint little sucker....and it was moving! (my PME simply wasn't doing a great job nailing its tracking rate)

looks like space invaders - nice result though

Ta Dave...I believe the brightness estimates are around mag 14....hence it was pleasing to even capture it through Sydney's skyglow.

Wow, that is definitely moving!

Do you guide on the comet, or does the Paramount ME allow you to enter a comet tracking mode, like the Gemini's various options?

Great result!

Nice shooting. It's a weird one alright. Small, faint, fast, close and actually looks like a comet. I've never seen anything like it.

Ta H.

No guiding.

One of the cool features of any Bisque mount is once you click on an object, the software calculates its tracking rate , and its a simply matter of switching to the new rate (which may then start driving the Dec axis if required).

Works for all objects, e.g. Sun, moon, planets, minor planets, comets and even earth-orbiting satellites.

Ah, TheSkyX integration. Very cool.

Perhaps one day. :)
