The weather gods must have felt sorry for us Melbournians, last night, and parted the clouds - after making us miss both the opposition and the closest approach.

very very nice.

last night was so clear and crisp although I had to pack up with some light spitting/mist ~9.45pm lasted about an hour then started clearing again ... (school night so couldn't ride it out this time).

Fabulous images Stefan! Hubble standard I would say. Processed beautifully. I've not seen anything better this year.
