Call for help in Canberra - EQMOD and StellariumScope

I'm having problems with my EQ8 and software. I have everything I am supposed to have to make it work, but gettting it to work properly has proved fruitless.

I've been on the internet, read instructions, followed tutorials, watched youtube, talked through on the phone. I've had some AWESOME help from a few people, but my problems need first-hand assistance.

I am ready to throw the lot out the window and bulldoze the building.

Is the ANYONE in Canberra with the experience and know-how who can PHYSICALLY come here and help me sort it out? I'll PAY you!

Please don't offer solutions online. I am over it.

Never used Stellarium for scope control, have seen a few people with a few problems with it though. I have always used Planetarium based programs such as C2A and Cartes du ciel, and Skymap Pro, with C2A being my favorite so far.

Good luck with it all Baz, wish I was closer, I would come over and help sort it out for you, or at least try. :)

Sorry Baz, I can't help you with the EQ8, but I could bring a few beers over and bring my D9 Dozer? Still that might be a bit premature...........

I'm not sure what the difference is with the EQ6 and 8, but I have the opposite problem, I can get it to work in Stellarium (NEQ6pro)but not in PHD2.
Took me a few goes to realise that I had to press ctrl + 1 to get it to go...
