I have a Vantec Nexstar 3 External HDD with both USB2 and eSATA connection. I am using the USB 2 atm but I'd like to be able to use the higher speed of the SATA connection. Is there something similar to the PCMCIA for firewire for SATA that I can use with my laptop?

I think the e simply specifies external.

Yeah it's a bit confusing for non-serial-geekites like me:nerd:

The e is for external and allows for a cable length of up to 2 metres.
