Going to start messing around with replacing AstroPlanner with SkyTools3.

Main reasons for this is there are just a few too many bugs with the windows version of AP that just aren't being solved in any reasonable time frame. Considering I've been away from my scope for a year and bugs that I reported are still unfixed.... you can sorta see frustration.

Any good advice from people regarding ST3?

I use SkyTools 3 Pro and it is my first choice for creating an observing list. It also has telescope view as well as great looking charts that print well.

The Pro version has many more features and I think is worth it. I wish it was available as an App.

I have not connected it to a telescope although it is capable of that. I mainly bought it to generate observing lists and this is easy to do. There are also many free user lists available online for download from within SkyTools3.
