Just another solution for housing a 16-in Lightbridge.
Photos are mainly self-explanatory.
Back of the concrete-block shed faces north, and there's generally good view almost to the SCP in the opposite direction before the shed roof intervenes.
Had a big rectangular hole cut in the concrete by a local builder, plus he installed the 'door' and frame. I finished off the interior 'sentry box', door strengthening timber, painting, etc.
This is only used for casual observing, and very quick to roll out. There are three castors on the dob base, and three wooden wedges stop the scope moving.
The door/platform is stable enough for the scope, but it's not designed for standing on. The end of the platform is about 40cm above the ground, so I need to use a small set of steps for most observing - the only downside I've found so far.
