View Full Version here: : shutterbug vs canon interval timer???
Can anyone advise me on these products for interval timing using a canon 350d, i know an adaptor cable is needed for the canon timer as its not designed for the 350d. I also dont think i need dslrfocus. Any helpful comments on these two products?

Hi 5ash
Out of curiosity, is there any reason why you would choose Shutterbug over DSLRFocus, reason I ask is that DSLRFocus was designed to focus and automate your exposures within one piece of software and allow you to send the images to your designated folder/s.

hi john,
i was looking to use something simple. i dont have an electronic focusser to automate .i focus using a 2.5x right angle finder attached to the camera which seems to work well. i want something simple to use ! dslr focus does more than i want at this time .
thanks for your comment .

OK
I dont use any type of focus control other than a 10/1 focuser, just use DSLRFocus to bring up a live image on the screen and focus on that, no bending or attaching things in the dark.
I can understand your predicament, takes a while for it to fall into place, have fun.
Cheers
