What is the best way to log an observation in AstroPlanner?

Here are my observations of the Sun today all using the Coronado PST.

Session - Sun: 12:03 - 12:30
12:03 - 19mm eyepiece (drew picture)
12:15 - 9mm eyepiece (drew picture)
12:25 - 9mm + 2x barlow (drew picture)

I tried to log my observations but what is the correct way to do it? I added the object (the Sun) then there is a box on the bottom right under the 'object' tab which you can enter multiple observation times there but on the right hand side you can add more than one telescope with many combinations using different eyepieces. So is it better to create 3 observations within the 1 session or create 1 observation then add the resource combinations on the right??? What is the correct way to log my session?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Doesn't matter, do it your own way. There are no hard and fast rules for taking notes on your sessions. Astroplanner just offers a medium to capture it with various options. You're the one who will reference it later so do it whatever way suits you.
