Comet R1 Lovejoy Nov 10

ISON was clouded out this morning but R1 Lovejoy was in a gap. I kept shooting 30 second exposures until the clouds rolled over. Here we have about 50 x 30 seconds at ISO 1600 through an SW120mm f5 refractor, no filters, Pentax K-x.

Hi Justin. I tried both DSS and registax with identical results. The difference being DSS is a chore to manually select each frame so I'll probably use registax in future if the nucleus is bright enough to track.

Experimenting with animation. Obviously I suck at it, but it's my first try at animating anything!
