I'm considering an 8" cassegrain for travelling.
Looking at then due to the intermediate size.
Any suggestions or experience. Thanks.

Hi Barry
Our club uses an 8" LX-90 which will give satifing views of bright DSO's & is awesome on the planets, star clusters etc. I would suggest a good airtight case for travelling though !
Cheers

+1 an 8" will show you plenty, but definitely recommend a good case. I travel with my 8SE in a peli-type case and it survived the long haul baggage handlers :D
