Just went shopping for laptop RAM, to increase my Dell Latitude D600 from 512M to 1gigabyte, so I wanted another 512M DDR module.

Tried Dell online, ebay australia, MemoryX.com and ebay US.

Dell Memory (http://dellstore04.dell.com.au/public/catalog_dellware02.jsp?&sno=0.7713272292974617) - the only ones for my laptop (D600) are the 1gig (overpriced) and the 256M (cheap). I would've preferred a 512M but it doesn't appear to be available.

Using MemoryX (http://www.memoryx.com), it came back with these prices.. $USD, shipping US$9.
- 256MB Dell Inspiron 510m, 600m, 700m PC2700 DDR333 SODIMM (p/n 311-2955): USD$29.98
- 512MB Dell Inspiron/Precision Workstation M60 Notebook PC2700 DDR SODIMM (p/n 311-2959): USD$59.98
- 1GB Dell Inspiron/Latitude Notebook PC2700 DDR333 SODIMM (p/n 311-2962: USD$129.98

Ebay Australia (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/512Mb-Memory-RAM-DELL-Latitude-C840-D400-D500-D600_W0QQitemZ6888994102QQihZ013QQc ategoryZ99262QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) has the same 512M Ram for AU$149 + postage.

Ebay US (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/512MB-Ram-Memory-DELL-Latitude-D505-D500-D600-D400-D800_W0QQitemZ330001648331QQihZ014Q QcategoryZ80201QQssPageNameZWD2VQQr dZ1QQcmdZViewItem) has the same 512M RAM for US$39 + US$17 postage!

So I went with the Ebay US option! Another 512M RAM at my door for under AU$75. Gotta be happy with that.

Hope that helps anyone else looking for more memory.
