Does anyone know of a servo with a lower profile than this one (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__27570__Turnigy_TGY_50700M_Low_Pro file_High_Torque_Mechanical_Retract _Servo.html) at 23mm high?

Baz, you can get servos considerably smaller, but the available torque drops. If you can do with less torque there are a whole lot of micro and mini servos available. Look at the Servos & parts link. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__11737__HobbyKing_Ultra_Micro_Serv o_1_7g_for_3D_Flight_Left_.html

Thanks Phil. Those micro servos only push 80 grams. I need a couple of kilos of torque at least.

Baz, look for slim wing servos from Phil's link.
One has 6kg of torque, make sure your nose is in before operating !
