two separate mornings - two unique shots. common factor is that they were no where near long enough exposed, both well under an hour. pity the daylight was coming quickly

yeah I know the second one is better - longer data too ;) but I will have to spend some more time on it in a few months time. must get my own 40D's fixed first

No proof that you stayed up late was necessary, when it comes to staying up late you were/are the undisputed king (should there be an award for that....)
Nice work Dave, I have a couple of shots of M42 to process myself, but alas without the horse, when I get home.

I've ordered the Superman underwear and Cape from the same place y0u got got yours, plus the stay up late kit. Now all I need to do is practice and hope I can get time off again next year....:D
