Just tried this CLS filter on ETA CARINAE NEBULA low down on the horizon.
With a big waxing moon to spoil things.Using just a 20mm plossl, 10" sct.
Im able to make out the keyhole. Not great under these conditions, but there it is. Absolutely INVISIBLE without the filter.
Same with planetary ngc3918 in Centuarus.
Bty.This makes a great Lunar and planetary filter, on all kinds of scopes, Ive found.
.PS: Put this one on your list. Cheers bigjoe.:)

I agree! Great little filter for the money. Used mine for photo work in a very light effected area... Really good results...

Yes - fully agree - Astronomik CLS is one of the best filters around for a variety of purposes.

Beyond simple LPR (wherein it is excellent) I also found it to probably be the best filter for controlling CA in Achro's. I thought the view the CLS provided in Achros better than a host of different dedicated VR filters I have also tried.

I have one also. Very similar to the Lumicon Deep Sky Filter. Good for nebula lost in LP. Also seems to "wake up" the Ha response in unmodified DSLR's.
