I am doing a shuffle of eyepieces mainly for the new 18" scope and while I think I am covered , I am wondering if I am missing anything.
I just ordered a 20mm , 14mm 100 Explore Scientific and will keep a 11mm Nagler and 7mm Pentax XW . Going over 20mm my exit pupil takes a dive
but I do still have a 27mm Pan and a WO 28mm UWAN (82) . Will probably get rid of the the 27 pan and a 19 pan I have , but should I look at adding something wide still like a 31 Nagler or is it not worth it over the 20/100.

See what the difference between the 28mm and the ES 20 is. I find the 20 100º is a large enough field.

And one anodised purple in the set. Don't you forget...

Not sure what F ratio you have, but I am surprised you are looking at off loading the 19 and 27 Pans.

I have 18" f4.5 and use 7, 9 13mm Naglers + 27mm Pan. Satchmo recommended an eyepiece to give a 4mm exit pupil so am looking at either 17.3 Delos or 19 Pan. For some reason I just don't like fields exceeding the 82 degrees the Naglers offer.

John its also a f4.5 I like the larger FOV , I like what the Nagler and WO shows at 82 and considered the Ethos but cant justify the price.
The Pans are nice but I am doubling up with them and if I am loosing exit pupil with the 27mm I may as well go bigger in FOV .
I will compare it to the 20ES and WO when I get a chance but I dont think I will keep it some how.

Good. Try what you can get your hands on, and buy what works for you - and your scope.

Hi buddy.Im the same.Where all spoilt for choice.Ofloading a 27 pan for a possibly better ep.An obssession with too high an exit pupil could also result in dissapointing washed out views as some get in the 31nagler.Resolution closely matches the eye for most at 1mm exit pupil, so 6mm may just be a waste of time and money.
Just my 2cents. Cheers:)

I tried the WO 28mm 82 in the dob last night and it was awesome with sharp stars all the way to the edge so think I will be keeping it for wide.
