Not too big on galaxies but my mate was shooting this one with his 20" CDK that night so I thought why not give it a go with the puny little 90mm refractor. :P

A tough galaxy at the best of times. Should be pretty stoked with that Marc. Goes to show how far the spiral structure extends. Well done.

Thanks Ray.:thumbsup: Yeah, just saw your superb rendition of it. Faint alright. But I had the chance to be in the right spot at the right time. Very dark skies and good view south and clear skies most importantly so gave it a shot. :)

Great result Marc. You've captured quite a bit of the spiral arms and the colours look good.
