The picture was taken through an augmented reality app called "Theodolite" it super imposes the direction, angle and gps data on a view of what you are looking at.
Can be used for planning a, in my case very restricted, astronomy sight. Or if you find an interesting place with good fore-ground stuff it stores the angle details that you can then feed into your planetarium software to plan that stunning astro landscape.
