One sleep to go then I'm off on a 2 week business trip through Europe and SE Asia.:) Its going to be a very busy trip but I'm taking my OM-D just in case there's any opportunity to catch some shots.;)
I leave in the morning to have a look at another part of our business, then fly out to Thailand to look at a couple of factories. Then a week in Germany at the Ligna Exhibition in Hannover, followed by some factory inspections in Spain, Turkey and Malaysia on the way home. Should be good... definitely be something different.

Just a quick check in from Bangkok. Had a very productive day yesterday and a good night last night... dinner and a few bars.;) Would've loved to have done some street photography last night, but I'm not sure that was kocher...... but the tuk-tuk ride home was fun!
Its been quite successful so far, no amnesia, dead bodies or missing fingers ("Hangover 2" - for those who haven't seen it:P).
Its just a couple of hours till we're off to the airport, and fly to Germany.

G'day from Istanbul!
First night here. We did a walk tonight to walk off lunch before we attacked dinner:rolleyes:... wish I had the camera, as was some awesome shots to be had by streetlight. I haven't had much time to get many shots so far but I hope to remedy that in the morning:thumbsup:. I found some fantastic old wonky houses, but they probably won't have as much character in daylight... but we'll see.
I hope to be home on Thursday.:)

I'm back... full of jet lag ATM, but that's OK. Its good to be home!:) The trip was a pretty last minute thing as we took advantage of opportunities to visit factories as we met people along the way (particularly at Ligna). So we ended up going Sydney, Bangkok (2 factories), Frankfurt, high speed train to Hannover (Ligna Fair), Brilon (1 factory), autobahn back to Frankfurt, Milan (1 factory), Istanbul (1 factory, 2 lines), Dubai, Sydney.
I took over 500 photos. Outside the work ones, I got a few shots of the Alps from the plane as we flew into Malpensa (Milan) but I got also got a lot in Istanbul. We had a day off there, so walked the city and took some touristy shots but I also did a lot of wide angle street from the hip.;) Some of the old run down houses in the back streets are particularly good subjects, but if I had time there existing light night photography would be the way to go... such moody light, and rough buildings!
It might take a while to process, but I'll post some of the better ones separately.
:)
