A wonderful image. Very electric. What filters did you use for this?
Retaining star colours in narrowband images is usually done by an RGB set that is added to the narrowband image using layers and masking the stars out of the narrowband and lighten mode on the rgb so the rgb stars show up and the narrowband ones are masked out. Narrowband stars are often smaller than RGB stars so this works pretty well.
I did this here:

How to do a mask for the stars is covered in Louie Atalas free tutorials. Try googling his name.

Cheers for the info Greg.
The camera I currently have is a QSI583 the built in filter wheel has five slots so not enough room for RGB as well as narrowband.
Just can't bring myself to swap filters during an imaging run.
I may have to though I guess .
Btw filters used were Astrodon 5nm
I will go take a look at your pics.
Cheers thanks again,
Dave

Welcome Dave. Terrific image, although there do seem to be some compression artifacts.

Amanda, thanks for the comments glad you like it. It's bold, and not to everyone's taste but you were kind enough to give it the thumbs up.
As for technical advice don't worry we are all learning in this game.
May post a couple more tonight.
Dave :)
