Does anyone on the forums have an Argo navis connected to their Pocket Pc or Palm?

If so, how do you do it and what software do you use?

I spoke to Gary about this and he indicated it was not an area he delved into much but was aware of users using Pocket Pc's etc with the Argo.

He mentioned Bisque's The Sky and Astromist. Is one better than the other or much of a muchness?

Hi Chrissara

I have connected my Takahashi EM200 (Temma 2) and Vixen GPDX (Skysensor 2000) mounts to my HP iPAQ hx4700 PDA, using TheSky Pocket Edition via Bluetooth. I produced a 5 page "how to" in PDF format during the process.

Does that help?

Cheers

Dennis

Have connected Losmandy G11/Gemini4 and HEQ5-Pro mounts to Palm T3 running Planetarium via a bluetooth connection [Aircable]. Best thing I ever did.

Thanks for the replies. Are there any Aircable dealers in Australia at all? Also which cable (Aircable) do I need if I am just connecting to a PDA with bluetooth?

Hi Chris,

You might want to post the same question on the Argo Navis Group on Yahoo.
There are quite a few people using PDAs/Pocket PC's and wireless solutions
on that Group that could possibly offer additional suggestions.
See http://groups.yahoo.com/group/argo_navis_dtc

The Sky Pocket Edition is a popular product.
