I'm having problems deep sky stacker.i have two problems 1 banding after stacking and the other problem is out of memory message.

Hi Shane, I notice we are only 30mins apart. Not many of us down here.
You have issues with DSS, and I can't get Registax 5 or 6 to accept my
MOV files that have been converted to AVI in NCH converter. I am
hoping that a single knowledgable good samaritan can help us both.

Shane, what are the specs on the PC you are using? Biggest issue with DSS is an under specced PC, not enough memory or processing power.

Raymo, this issue has been posted before somewhere IIRC. Mov to Avi conversions seem to not fully comply with all the file descriptions and are not recognised by Registax. I don't know of any fix for this.

zero. my lappy is new with windows 7 core i7 with lots of memory. but my camera Nikon d800 36mp maybe that's too big for the programme :shrug: .I have never gotten regstack to work raymo either :screwy::)
