Hi all,

I am continuing to photograph both these comets on a daily basis and when able update my website pages:

On the night of the 30th-31st I tried an all night video of F6 LEMMON. It got 83 exposures in before the mirror shifted significantly and focus altered as a result. The result is the little video at the LEMMON page. The aim was to capture short term variations in it's tail.

I will be trying the video again soon, just sorting out some technical challenges.

Regards,
Roger.

Hi Roger - love your comet pages - the animation of just under 3 hours is a classic in my book - sorry the mirror gave you grief.
Very much looking forward to more.

Thanks Matt :)

I attempted another all-nighter last night and while it did retain focus cloud/fog came through so wiped out much of the night.
