Hi,

After installed latest TSX update released on 29/12/12
TheSkyX Professional Edition for Windows Version 10.2.0 (Build 6409)
my Sirius dome with Maxdomeii runs erratically and no longer synchronise the the scope, slit is out of alignment most of the times.
Can someone please show me how to downgrade to previous installed version of TSX?

Thanks
David

Why not get the latest, Build 6536? I have TSX 10.2.0 Builds 6357, 6386 and 6408. Roughly 8Mb each. I can send via email if you want.

Hi Charles,
I am uncertain and thus reluctant to update new release TSX builds, the latest updates has caused some sort of conflict with the dome (dome automation, I found is the most troublesome piece of equipment)
When I install the earlier builds that you have, would that overwrite the latest build?
Thanks for your offer.

I'm fairly sure the 'downgrade' keeps all your settings but replaces TSX itself. I've done it a few times trying to figure out errors in TSX and had no problems. Have you checked with Bisque's Support forum? Someone may have the same problem. My setup is out in the rain so I don't have any Dome problems.

I always find it more helpful here than the SB forum. Someone has mentioned similar problem in its forum with no apparent resolution. Would you please send me your builds, I will try to downgrade. Thanks for your help again. Pm sent

Don't downgrade yet David. I had the same problem (Sirius / Maxdome II combo) when upgrading to that version. After analysing the slit position vs scope pointing it was clear that I had to change the sign of the Xt parameter in the dome setup from -ve to +ve. That worked for me.

Cheers, Marcus

Wow, Thank you Marcus
Indeed changed the polarity of Xt has done the trick. Alignment is spot on again, all credits to your mathematical mind.
