M42 in moonglow

Orion in moonglow last night.
First run with the 8" skywatcher
Captured using the 8" on the Heq5
Modded 1100D 20 sec exposures
Total 10Mins @ 800 ISO

Looks like the 8" doesn't do a bad job.
Stacked in DSS then post-process in CS5

nicely done Paula, quite a bit of detail for 20 sec exposures.
is the mod just the IR filter removal or is it cooled as well.
just realized, this is my 1000th post :D

Thanks alistair, its just the IR filter removed, hubby has all gadgets ready for the cooling mod to go on.
