Batch cropping with moving object in Photoshop

I have been looking around online on how to do a batch crop but with an object that is in a different place with each image.

I know how to do a batch crop and straighten task but it isn't what I want.

Does anyone know how to do a batch crop (I got over 100 images) but with an object that is in a different place on each image?

I am cropping my solar eclipse images which were taking on my DSLR so the Sun starts from the bottom right and goes to the top left.

Check out the links on the left to an article on planetary processing by Mike Salway, or alternatively, search for PCFE on the web. This autosenses the planet/object and crops and centres it for you automatically.

Its awesome for when the object is all over the shop.

Just tried it out, does a really good job. However, I have a bunch of RAW's and this program only reads BMPs for some reason which are around 25mb from a 8mb RAW.

Photoshop cannot do a batch RAW to BMP conversion, is there another way around this?

I've done exactly this in Lightroom, it's inexpensive and made for that kind of thing.

Opps, sorry, that was premier pro I did that with, google for many tuts and videos on it. LR will do it too, I saw a how-too on the LR timelapse site, google it.

Use Canon's Digital Photo Professional (the one and only Canon RAW converter). It came with your camera. It does batch output of CRW/CR2 to whatever format you want.

If you bought your camera second-hand and don't have a disc, let me know and I'll upload the software for you to my web space, which you can download, install, and then update with the latest binaries from Canon's support page.
