Undoubtedly yes, but many of them won't be familiar to us if they are "Ebay specials". Best you put forward details of what you are looking at, what scope you want to use it in and for what particular observation, and then people can comment.

And the price being charged is a good indicator of the wisdom of purchase.

I should also say that some eyepieces might be good for one purpose and not much good for another, regardless of price and brand.

Stay away from Ebay, avoid any eyepiece marked with "H" (hygenian) or "SR" (ramsden), and don't bother with Kellners or "Modified Achromats". I've read some negative reviews of Celestron's X-Cel ED eyepieces (and its clones such as the Orion ED2 and Saxon ED brands) so I wouldn't buy these without trying them out first.

You can't go wrong with a decent plossl, these provide good image quality and are relatively cheap. You can find these at Bintel for $40 a pop.

Not sure if I totally agree with that statement, especially for the more
premium types which tend to work as well across a greater number of
telescope types and focal lengths if not all in some cases. Example; my
GSO 2" 30mm SV works ok in my f/6 but crap in my f/4.5. Where as my
31mm or 20mm t5's work just as well in either. The only thing they're not
much good in is my PST which doesn't except the 2" format.
