Hi all,
Looking to buy some budget EPs for my new f7.5 ED80.
Came across the Bintel SG Wide Angle range on their site.
Looking at the 30mm specifically. Does anyone have experience with these EP's? Any tales to tell?
Are they similar to the Andrews 80 degree EPs?
Cheers in advance.

It's the same eyepiece as the Andrew's 80 degree. The main problem is poor edge performance at fast focal ratios; the outer half of the field is astigmatic at f/5, but that should be significantly improved in your f/7.5 scope. If you search for 30 UWA you'll find it has been dicussed previously on IIS.

Thanks Tony, thought they might be one and the same EP!

I have the 11mm SG and i find it pretty good, mind you apart from that I only have bintel/GSO plossils so probably not much grounds for comparison. When i got the 11mm, which i exchanged for one of the ep's that came with my 10" dob, the guys at Bintel recommended the 16mm as well or in stead, but I was on a budget and couldnt front up the extra 30 bucks to get it. But i've found the 11mm to be a pretty nice ep to look through. I guess it comes down to getting what you pay for. :)
