does anyone know of an illuminated reticle with a full grid as opposed to just central crosshairs, thanks.

The Celestron Microguide is the best.

Meade also make one, but the base eyepiece is based on a modified achromat design, whereas the Celestron is built around a 12.5mm Japanese made orthoscopic.

You can buy this from "Optics Planet" who are pretty cheap good to deal with and ship to Australia. You can buy it in Australia, but the cheapest you will find it is about 400 large ones. With the exchange rate at over 80 cebts at the moment, you will land it for about $230 buying from Optics Planet who are very good.
