New Tak le7.5 in Japan?

Hi,

Just surfing the net on a lazy Sunday morning and came across a new looking takahashi Le 7.5 eyepiece on a Japanese website. Kyoei-osaka.jp

Looks to have a blackened barrel with a threaded stop?
Checked mine to compare, definitely no barrel stop.
Not sure what the thread is intended for, any ideas?
The barrel looks smaller to me, possibly for a spotting scope maybe.

Compared to a normal LE 7.5mm the barrel looks much narrower relative to the upper part. I wonder if someone has adapted it to a 0.965" barrel?

Agree with Morton - either a 0.956 adaptor, or someone simply screwed the chrome barrel off.

Of course, just looks like the chrome barrel has been removed.

Somebody just unscrewed the chrome barrel.
Interesting it does measure just under an inch in diameter though.
