First go at M42

I tried to image M42 for the first time a few nights ago I noticed my focus was a bit out on all of my shots but i decided to process them anyway to see what resulted. I needed to play with the image a lot to tease out some detail using tone curve adjustments and image sharpen.

Note to self: focus more on focus next time and more subs.

M42
60 x 25 sec subs at iso 1600
10 darks
10 flats
12" LX200 (Alt/Az setup)
Sony Nex-3 Camera

Nice one Wayne. It's such a fun object to image and try new ideas on hey?

I love the anticipation when conditions present themselves, everything else gets dropped and AP is all systems go!!
