NGC 246 Skull

Frustrating PN!!!! Can't get it to stack much, and looks detail-less (only 20 subs).

Also shown is NGC 247 GX lower left near β-Ceti.

Got to improve on this field - like to do about 90 subs at least of 3 minute exposures.

Does it really has small exposure? Such bright result. By the way, why do you like it? Strange shapeless nebula. Although, with long exposure it would be prettier, maybe. Although, it is only my opinion.

Vasya, da, little light from it. DULL planetary nebula.

I am fascinated by planetaries. Not pretty like emmission, reflection, and diffuse nebulae, but the challenge and the science behind what is happening intrigues me with them.

There are a host of planetaries out there, some spectacular in terms of distinct singular colours and shape (like NGC 7009), others because of their age and how far the shell has expanded etc.
