Jupiter in fairly good seeing.I had issues with the camera so was only able to get 700-800 good frames per channel.High clouds alos caused some issues.

Thanks everyone,
it was really frustrating having decent seeing but the camera/laptop just would not give me 30fps.I think the issue is the hard drive on my laptop not able to keep up with the image transfer.

I put an SSD in the laptop, and have never looked back. I removed the CD-Drive and put a cradle in that let me mount a 2nd hard drive in the laptop.
That way you can get an affordable 60GB SDD for fast-drive needs, and a cheap huge 750GB for storage. Best of both worlds and no worries about drive speeds or hiccups.

Thanks for the tip Peter.My laptop is old and I dont think it will be compatible with a SDD.I have "borrowed" my wifes laptop.It is newer with a 2.0 USB and a pretty empty hard drive.All I need now is a clear sky. I reprocessed the second image with a LR deconvolution and a high pass filter and gaussian blur in photoshop.I think it is a little less grainy.I dont think I can get much more out of this image.Anyone else want to try let me know and i will send you the bmp or rgb pics.
I have added my setup in my signature.All my planetary images are taken with the c11 and dmk21.

My laptop was four years old, but any older and it probably isn't SATA.

Make sure the drive is defragged and all power saving is off, turn off any antivirus or other background programs and hope for the best I guess

I'm very jealous of the image and the scope, i think I have a few years of learning ahead of me before I'll get any images like that.
