From the same night as my M42 pic. There are some problems with this picture and I at least know what a few of them are.
Field rotation. Alignment was quick and dirty and the picture pays for that. I'm working on it and my next shots will be better. This induced some field rotation and spoils the pic.
More Subs....
This was taken with the ED80 and Canon 1000D 4 X 10minute subs at iso 200. Stacked with deepsky stacker processed in CS4 with the addition of noise ninja and astrophoto tools plugins.
As a processing exercise it was fun and I look forward to getting out and grabbing some better pics.
