jupiter short stack

Taken through a webcam 12 frames stacked in registax 5.1 - I think I overcooked the wavelets

nice shot jenny def showing some detail in the bands but it is a tad bit overcooked like mentioned haha but awesome pic

I think the upper air was very stable - the GRS was easy to see.
I didn't have time for any more shots - the clouds rolled back in.

To get the detail you will need about 2000 frames or max about 3 minutes (due to Jupiter's fast rotation) of video at a reasonable frame rate. The more frames the less noise.

Nice going Jenny, a bit cooked but that has brought some good fine detail through, as mentioned a lot more subframes to kill the noise and smooth out the data and this would be an even greater image. All the best for more, cheers
