Vixens LV's - The unofficial thread

Hi Guys,

I am very interested in eveyones reviews on these newer sub $200 eyepieces. 33 South has a 6mm. I have Asimovs 5mm which was $300. The main thing is to see if the sub $200 eyepieces are the same quality as the older $300

So please post all your reviews on the vixen lv's here. As Iceman has commented, they are loking like being a very serious contender for planetary at the prices that myastroshop.com.au are quoting.

I know i am constantly picking up asimovs to use lately for mars and saturn!!!

Redundant posts?

Anyway...What happened with the 'chromatic abberations' seen on mars with the 5mm. Did you solve that somehow or what? In hind-sight, I should have sent you my contrast booster as well...does a marvellous job on mars with that EP!
