Buying EP's in Adelaide ?

Hi All,

To the Adelaide members. Where is a best place to find new and used eye pieces for Astro telescopes here ?

I guess my choice of a shop (or home business) would be one that had budget end gear, as well as mid range, plus secondhand bargains. Anybody like that in Adelaide ?

If not, then is there anywhere selling much second hand astronomy gear here ?

Yes, I agree T&A.

Matthew has good knowledge of astronomy and he seems to keep up-to-date on current technology.

I've bought from Matthew a few times. Good to do business with (both thru" his website and face2face). He has made himself available to mysellf on a couple of occasions.

He is willing to give advice and demonstrate the gear.

Matthew has viewing nights set aside for people to check out scopes to see what they like.

Hi guy's,

Thanks for all the tips, some of which were via PM's.
I went down to Optic SA on Henley Beach Rd first up because it's only 10 minutes from where I work.

Andrew who served me seems to be quite happy to discuss the equipment at my level, I gleaned a lot of good info in just 10 minutes that I'd not found elsewhere. He's obviously an astronomy enthusiast.

I ended up coming out with a 9mm GSO Plossl, which we thought would be a good starting EP that's better quality than what the scope came with.
