GSO barlows...

I am hoping that some one might be able to help me out.
I was looking to get a 2" barlow for my telescope. On Andrews web site they have:
ED 2x magnification, 2" (with 1.25" adaptor), FMC, 2 element, achromatic and
2x magnification, 2" (with 1.25" adaptor), FMC, 2 element, achromatic.
Could some one tell me what the difference is (apart from the price)?

Cheers - Craig.

Me and a friend compared ED and non-ED GSO 2" 2x barlows in a 10" Dob. Visually we could not detect any difference on or off-axis on a whole range of objects from planets and stars to deep sky. On inspection there seems no difference either.
