Ummmm . . . yes, Geoff!

You worked that out, huh!

Moon isn't much fun for imaging DSO's and last night (or is that 2 nights ago now that it's past midnight), I tried some imaging and the Toucam is almost completely dead

So, I sit here posting stupid stuff, waiting for the Moon to rack off

Smile Horsing Around...

Ken,
I'm so please you showed us this. You've finally proven that the outline on the nebulosity images is not really hydrogen-alpha pink but is actually chestnut in colour! Also reminds me that they think "black holes have no hair." You have finally discovered they were wrong all along!

That's Awesome Ken, even the Hubble has failed to pick up nose hair in the
horsehead neb'. If I'm not mistaken in the wide field shot, it looks like two
black holes, a binary black hole system. Wonder which one will gobble up the
other, and what will be left? a hairy nose hole?

regards,CS

Yep, could've worked out differently had he turned around

I'm glad you all noticed the fine detail never captured before: A Hairy Binary Black Hole system in a Chestnut Nebula that we don't want to see the other side of

I was wondering why this post wasn't in the Astronomy Science section.

It's only a matter of time now before the Uranus jokes start again.
