Great night viewing

Finaly a night off that is clear. Watched the moon this arvo and was amazed at the detail even in daylight. Then this evening while looking at a cluster of stars near orion (one of the few groups I can recognise) first a satalite goes straight through the view, then as I look up to see it a meteor goes off as I watch. Well happy. Now to sort out a camera mount.

Ah Tony, those are nights to remember, glad you enjoyed ever moment, enjoy the night sky first mate, then consider some other alternative, imaging is a fairly steep learning curve.

Used to do a few pics with the cannon t90. Great when camping, use the fire light to light up the trees and a flash with a red filter to bring out the reds and give it an autum look. will try to scan a copy when the Large huntsman spider leaves the room.
