Thanks Neilzstar,
I wonder if I would be able to see it as I remember a post (not sure where) someone taking a picture with an LX90.

Shuttle Launch
Meadehead, Thanks for the reply. I don't know about observing it directly - ''Heavens Above' may be the site to find that out. Others from IIS may have an idea about that. My interest is in watching the launch live on NASA TV on http://www.ksc.nasa.gov/nasadirect/nasatv
I have 256 mb/s broadband and one gets quite a good view - just allow for momentary still frames. Cheers, Neilzstar

Shuttle Launch Tv
A better link than that given previously may be http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html Use NasaTv or via Realplayer. Cheers Neilzstar

Small Hiccup perhaps?
Ken, hOughy and others? Has anyone noticed a commentator on NASA who seems to be about an hour earlier than their countdown gives? Or is it just my ears. I am going to keep watching continuously just in case he knows something that we don't. Agh Agh Doesn,t Matter. Launch time remains the same. I was just about to press the send button for this post, and the confusion is dispelled. Answer must be a planned hold in the countdown. Cheers and Good TV Neilzstar

Thanks, Ken, I probably was on IIS or something else. And you did notice, I'm sure, that if there were little green men, they would not have a male driver-in-charge. (Please, No, I am not a chauvinist) Cheers, Neil
