Barnard's Photographic Atlas Online

Hi all,
Wasn't sure where to post this, mods please move if necessary.

Barnard's Photographic Atlas of Dark Nebulae can be found online now...

http://www.library.gatech.edu/search...ard/index.html

I found the "search by region" in the search menu the easiest way to get straight into the pics.

Cheers
Doug

Vehrenberg's photo atlas on DVD

The famous Vehrenberg's photographic atlas (among some others) is being published on DVD's.. The price is really good, only US$59.99 it is a bargain.
Historical value it is indeed but also a good reference to compare today's images with the situation 50 years ago.

The Milky Way - in Colour

This one sounds interesting.
http://www.stellarum.de/ENGLISH/index.htm

The 5th volume in our digital atlas series is an absolute premier state-of-the-art publication: The complete milky way in COLOUR at a resolution of only 1 arc second ! This will be one of the most interesting publications a real must for any stargazer, astronomer or observatory…

The ATLAS GALAXIAS will be published in the same kind like the other atlases in this series, but due to the huge data volume we need for this edition 12 DVD-ROMs. The atlas will also be published on two Blue-ray disks.

The price will be
US-$ 99.95 for the Blue-ray disk edition and
US-$ 199.95 for the DVD box. Available late 2008.
