Lagoon 2 hr acquistion in light pollution

Lagoon Nebula 180 seconds x40 lights 30 darks no flats stacked in DSS x3 drizzle, processed in Photoshop then reduced for the web. The 3x drizzle allows for cleaner rounder stars as the camera undersamples at 360mm focal length optolong lpro filter Orion ed80 x0.6 reducer 183mc pro. Guiding on the asi air is still fidgety as rms values varied from 0.9 to 2.5 but the stars were round in every image so can't complain. Very pleased with this 2 hour acquisition.

Nice and subtle Nik. Well done. A really good combination where neither the stars or the neb are overpowering. Great balance and very natural.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm gonna try it again tonight with the L-Enhance filter to compare it with the Lpro here's hoping the conditions are cooperative.

Nik
That’s a great image of M8 under LP
Nice colour and lots of detail
Don’t worry to much about the guiding numbers as long as your stars are round which yours are. I’ve had guiding above 2 arc sec error under poor conditions and still produced round stars
Well done !

Thanks Alex, just as I'm organising for tonight there are clouds on the horizon, not worth it now
