This was taken Monday night using my new EQ6-r, new FSQ106 thru a SBig 8300c.

30x 180 sec....could have imaged with longer subs but wanted to try out the short focal length of the Tak.

I quite like it even though the stars went wonky with reducing to a JPEG..

Will have another go on the weekend, with longer subs.

I was out last night doing M45 again with my newly arrived ZWO ASI071MC.

Just tested different timed subs at unity gain and was very impressed with the quality of the raw images.

I will post results after processing.

This image was taken last night with my newly arrived ZWO ASI071MC camera.

Scope used is the Takahashi FSQ106N.

2 x 300 second images, 1 x 300s dark at -5C with stacking in DSS and adjusted with levels only in Photoshop.

I am very impressed with the overall quality of this camera and it shows great promise.
