Built my first coffee table

Marg wanted a coffee table so I built one. It will go well with the wooden wheelbarrow. Build time about 1.5 days. Now that I'm feeling a bit better (but not 100%) I might build a wishing well, windmill or water wheel house next for the garden.

Astronomy.... what's that?

Actually I have a small wooden shed that will be used for an observatory, once all the tree stumps are removed from where it's going to live.

Making things out of wood has a soothing effect of us humans, a bit like gardening (though I prefer the woodwork). Nicely done Kevin !

It is versatile, making its way around the backyard Either that or it is walking around and just photo bombing!

Colin, "Day of the Coffee Tables!"

A good functional piece, Kevin. And you've used suitable woods for outdoors.

I've made key hangers for family members, very rustic looking. Wood is very pleasant to work with.

Thanks Matt. Yes I do find it relaxing and fun. Gardening is good too.

It does get around a bit. I think it's supposed to live near the garden bench for the most part.

Thanks Craig. Have to varnish or paint it yet but yes I love working with wood.
