The Prawn nebula in scorpio

The two pictures below were taken over the last two nights the first is 30x3min subs and the second 25x5min subs , taken with a nightscpe camera through a SW 120ED with 0.8x orion focal reducer. The 5 min picture seems to show a little bit more detail and better star colour.

Very nice, You'd expect the 5 min one to show more detail, it's got
35 mins more total exposure, which is quite significant. Obviously 18 x 5mins would have given a direct comparison, so you could have seen what benefit 5 min subs provided.

Very nice images with many details. Good color. It deserves a bit more processing for reduce the skyglow and enhance details.

Wow can really notice the difference in noise levels between the the 3min and 5min.
Star colours are also much nicer in the 5min image.
