Venus & Jupiter from Hobart 30062015

Last night from home at Glenorchy. At first I thought it was too cloudy too bother, but at the last moments of sunset light I grabbed these two shots. There is still a light scrim of cloud in front of the planets, which is why they are not pin sharp.

I'll make sure I have the big guns out tonight and try to get a closer shot. Exactly what time is it supposed to take place?

Edited to add: I found the time in another thread, so it appears it was while I was sleeping And we couldn't see it anyway. Boo, hiss.

"Am I right in saying this is for the 30/06/15 02:47 AEST."

Fuji X-T1 and SF 18-55.

Nice ones Odille.

I don't think the time matters much. They will be about 20 arc minutes away tonight.
