Omega Centauri

Hi, I'm playing with a flattener to try and establish correct distance, using omega centauri as a subject.

13x5min subs/darks.

I have 10 1 min subs to try layers for star colours.
Could some body suggest link that will show this technique in PSCS6?
Cheers
George

It's a fine shot for sure George, but I don't think you've quite nailed the spacing, keep fiddling.
Experience has shown a millimeter or two each way can sometimes make a difference.
While the moon is about is a good time to tinker. It's close, but not quite.

Hi George,
Nice work
I think you're probably describing luminance layering.
Maybe you could try this link.
