I have to admire your persistence in exploring less-travelled parts of sky. And NGC2972 looks quite pretty too.

Nice ones Jorge. I reckon these ones would look quite good with a bigger scope, say 20 inch.

Just as important as any other part of our galaxy, and fashion is momentary and fickle. I enjoyed browsing them, cheers.

Sometimes I like to see an area of sky without none DSO, with only stars, and appreciate the dispositon of them. See some shapes like arrow, semi-circle, sine wave they are.

My goal with astrophotos is to know the sky, see what I can't see with nude eyes. All cluster were nebulas. Big or small one. They have the history of the Universe much time ago. Some little globular cluster have the same age of Milk Way. See them is see the past of the Universe !

note: all them in constellation of Vela, near of Eta Carina nebula !

Thanks Kevin, and when adjusting the focus I use Epsilon Carina as reference. I liked its color, very impressive. Single frame ISO 1600 15 seconds.

Also known as Avior. Binary system, with separation of 0.46 arcseconds and only 2.0 difference in magnitude. Epsilon A has 2.2 and Epsilon B has 4.1 . They form an eclipsing binary system with a period of 785 days.

The main star with temperature of 4100 K, mass of about 4.6 times, and a diameter about 20 times and luminosity about 110 times that of the Sun.

Its companion much hotter with temperature of 23,000 K, diameter of 6 times, mass of 16 times, and luminosity of 8800 times that of the Sun
